Driver, guide and picnic included

Nobody in your party drives, and the picnic is in the price.

Rain does not stop it

If the ground cannot hold the trucks, you get the whole amount back or another day.

Your pickup moves with the ship

We book against the actual arrival, and a cancelled call costs you nothing.

What do you see on the St Kitts 4x4 tour?

What the route takes in depends on the day, the ground and the weather, and the operator sets it. We do not publish a stop list we cannot hold you to. Put what you want to see on the booking form and we will take it to them before you pay.

How long is the St Kitts 4x4 tour, and does it fit a cruise day?

Most ships in Basseterre are alongside from about 8am to 5pm or 6pm. Cruise passengers leave from Port Zante, a few minutes from the ship, and a morning departure has you back with time in hand. Put your all-aboard time on the form and we will work backwards from it.

How much does the St Kitts 4x4 tour cost?

US$599 covers up to four people. Two people pay US$599 and three people pay US$599, so the more of you, the less each pays. Children 3 to 12 count inside the four. Each extra adult is US$145 and each extra child 3 to 12 is US$99. Five or more takes a second truck. If we have another booking on your date we will offer to pair you and bring the price down, and the form asks whether you are willing to share.

What to bring

  • Closed shoes or trainers. You get out at the picnic and you walk a trail on the rainforest version, and the ground is loose underfoot.
  • Sun cover. You are out of the vehicle at the picnic and at the viewpoints, both in the open.
  • A light layer. The rainforest side of the island gets a passing shower most afternoons and it stops as fast as it starts.
  • Cash in small notes. US currency is accepted on this tour and across the island, and small notes go further than large ones.

Is it right for you?

  • The weight limit is 280 lb a person, about 127 kg. It is published and the operator enforces it at the vehicle.
  • The tracks are rough for long stretches. Do not book this one with a back or neck problem, or in late pregnancy.
  • You have to be able to get yourself in and out of a high vehicle several times without help.
  • The child rate runs from 3 to 12. If you have an infant under 3, ask, and we will get the answer from the operator.

Questions people ask

What is the weight limit, and is it really enforced?
280 lb a person, about 127 kg. It is published by the operator and it is not waived at the vehicle.
What do the booking sites charge for the same thing?
About US$132 a head, so US$528 for four against our US$599. We are above them at every party size and we would rather you saw that in the table than found it out later. What the difference buys is the whole truck for your party, with the route theirs to ask about, and the per-person figure falling as you add people instead of climbing. There is no taxi comparison on this one. A taxi stays on the tarmac.
Can you pay in US dollars?
Yes. US currency is accepted on this tour and everywhere else on the island.
Is the picnic a proper meal?
It is an island picnic and it is in the price. The operator decides what goes in it. Tell us on the form if anyone has a dietary restriction and we will have that answered before you pay.
Can we book the sugar heritage or the petroglyph version?
Yes, both are priced on request. Say which one on the form and we will come back with a figure. The heritage run covers 350 years of cane production with plantation visits and mountain viewpoints. The other one takes in a rainforest walk to the Carib petroglyphs.

Send a request. Pay only once it is confirmed.

Your date, how many adults and children, your pickup point, and your ship name if you are on one. Tell us whether you are willing to share with another booking. We confirm with the operator and reply within one working day, and the payment link comes last.
